Dr. Sudhir Murthy is the CEO of NEWhub, a Cleantech firm that commercializes new technologies and helps utilities and industry navigate their internal innovation process. Previously, Dr. Murthy was the Innovations Chief at DC Water, the public water utility that serves Washington DC metropolitan region. During his 16-year tenure at DC Water, he led innovations in water and wastewater treatment that resulted in the investment of nearly US$1 billion of new and innovative technologies and approaches. Much of the work was conducted through a worldwide open innovation programme. Dr. Murthy has a MS and PhD in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech, USA
