
James Ball is an Associate Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney. His primary research interest is in the development and application of catchment modelling systems with a particular emphasis on urban environments. He is internationally known for this work winning the JC Stevens Award from the ASCE for a research publication in the Journal of Hydraulic Engineering.
Prior to joining the University of Technology Sydney, Professor Ball obtained experience as a Consulting Engineer, in Government Authorities and in other universities both within Australia and internationally.
